Campbell Ave. -The Energy House Application: Sign Permit -Wall Sign/Window Signs Dear Mr. Karcich, ~I'ltank you for your September 14, 2011 submittal for a Sign Permit. The Planning Division has conditionally approved your Sign Permit application (PLN2011-239) for a new sign at the 46 East Campbell Avenue. The approved sign is new 20.6 square foot painted lettering on an existing awning sign reading, "Fireplace -Inserts -Gas Logs - Mantels -Fire Pits". The proposed window signage consisting of a 21.6 square foot sign reading "The Energy House: Since 1979" and a 3.5 square foot window sign reading, "www.energy- house.com" and "408-842-6570", is exempt from the City's sign regulations. Campbell Municipal Code Sec. 21.30.040 (L) states signs lettered to a store window for non- residential uses shall be exempt from regulation provided the sign(s) do not exceed 25% of the total window area per facade. This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following Conditions of Approval: 1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to sign installation. 2. The awning sign shall be fabricated and installed per the approved project plans, dated as received on September 1.4, 2011. PLN2011-239 --46 E Campbell Avenue Page 2 0~2 3. The approved signage shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced as necessary.
