Dear Mr. Herfurth:
Thank you for your preliminary Building Permit Application for an addition to an existing
single-family residence located at 119 Alice A venue. The Historic Preservation Board
reviewed the application at its meeting on February 26, 2003. The Board expressed support of
the proposed addition and found that the design was consistent with the historic character of
the main residence.
You may now submit a building permit application to the Building Division. You can
contact the Building Division at (408)866-2130 regarding the building permit requirements.

this project.
Weare so sorry that you were unable to attend the Historic Preservation Board Meeting. We

residence located at 119 Alice Avenue. The property is presently zoned R-I-6IH (Single
Family ResidentialIHistoric Overlay) and has a General Plan designation of Low-Density
Residential. The addition to a single-family residence within the R-I-6IH Zoning District
requires review by the Historic Preservation Board and approval of a Building Permit.
Your application has been placed on the Historic Preservation Board agenda for February
26,2003 at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
