Mr. Raymond:
The Community Development Department has approved your request to remove a dead trœ in the landscape
area at the comer of Rosemary Lane and S. Winchester Blvd. at 1550 S. Winchester Blvd.
Tills approval is granted based upon the following findings:
I) The trœ is exempt from the Trœ Preservation Ordinance in that it is obviously dead.
2) The deteriorated condition creates a potential for falling as supported by your tenants letter of this date
Consequently, the tree may be removed without a trœ removal pennit.
Thank you for checking with the City of Campbell regarding the Trœ PreseIvation Ordinance.
Sincerely:
Tim

Dear Ms. Fierro,
As a tenant in the above commercial property I recently informed the building owner
Donald Raymond that one of his trees near the sidewalk at Rosemary & Winchester had
died and needed to be removed for safety reasons. The tree's base roots are rotted and can
no longer support the tree from toppling over. The owner spoke with Mr. Tim Haley in
your Planning Dept. yesterday and was advised to obtain a memo from a tenant / witness
as to their observations concerning the situation. If you have any questions please feel
free to contact me directly.
Sincerely

Re:Request for tree removal
Dear Ms. Fierro,
I spoke with Mr. Tim Haley in your planning Dept yesterday advising him of our
need to remove a dead tree from my above referenced property.
The tree is no longer supported due to it's root system óeing cõmpletly roftêd
and has become a threat to public safety.
Attached are photographs of the subject tree for your review and use.
We not not wish to replace the tree as it would require us to replace our
irregation system which runs under the tree and also remove a mature hedge
roll to accommòdate a replacement tree.
Please advise as to how we should proceed in this matter.
Sincerely,
)!~~
