Dear Mr. Madden:
It has been brought to the attention of the Planning Division that the unimproved area behind
your parking lot has recently been paved. Additionally, a site inspection indicates that wheel
stops have been provided as well.
Your business is located within a C-2-S (General Commercial) Zoning District. The expansion of
your parking area needs to be reviewed by the city to ensure compliance with commercial
development standards. These standards require the placement of landscaping areas along the
borders of parking areas, the appropriate designation and striping of parking spaces and the
installation of curbing or other barriers to define the circulation areas.
Please contact the undersigned within the next three weeks to discuss the submittal of a parking
plan and the approval process.
