Dear Mr. Nguyen.,
Thank you for your April 22, 2013 revised submittal for a Sign Permit. The Planning Division
has conditionally approved your Sign Permit application (PLN2012-237) for one new wall sign
at 2230 S. Bascom Avenue, per the 2230-2236 S. Bascom Avenue Master Sign Program. The
approved cabinet. sign has a total sign area of 18 square feet and reads "Tho's Alterations
Cleaners".
This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following Conditions of Approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to
sign installation.
2. The wall sign shall be fabricated and installed per the approved project plans, dated as
received on Apri122, 2013.
3. The approved sign shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or
replaced as necessary.
4. Remove all remnants of previous signage from this location and paint and repair walls.

The Planning Division has reviewed your February 28, 2013 revised sign plan for a Sign
Permit (PLN20i12-237) for one wall sign located at 2230 S. Bascom Avenue. Again based on a
review of the application materials, the Campbell Municipal Code (CMC), and the approved
Master Sign Program for the commercial center located at 2230-2236 S. Bascom Avenue, your
application remains incomplete. The following revisions to the sign plans are needed in order
to continue processing this application:
1. Architectural Desi>;n: The wall sign shall be in compliance with the approved Master Sign
Program. Approved signage shall consist of an illuminated cabinet measuring two feet, six
inches tall by seven feet wide to be centered above the entry door and vertically on the five
foot building fascia. For uniformity, the sign must conform to the same appearance as the
street monument sign face. Letter height shall not exceed 12 inches and the cabinet color
shall be dark bronze; background is ivory.
2. Sign Detail: Please provide a scaled and dimensioned detail of the revised cabinet sign.

MASTER SIGN PROGRAM
Street Monument Pole Sign -
Each tenant will be allowed to display their company name on a
3' x 4' ivory background acrylic sign. Text will be predominately
black with a second color accent and letter height shall not exceed 12"
Two sign faces will be required (one for each side).
The cabinet color shall be dark bronze.
Wall Signage -
Each tenant will be allowed one illuminated cabinet 2'6" tall by 7' wide
centered over the entry door and vertically on the 5' building fascia.
For uniformity, this sign must conform to the same appearance as the
street monlunent sign face. Letter height shall not exceed 12" and the
cabinet color shall be dark bronze; background is ivory.
All installation and maintenance is the responsibility of the tenant.
General:
All sign text; shall be limited to the business name.
All signs must be approved by the property owner prior to obtaining the
required sign and building permits from the City of Campbell.
