Dear Mr. Strauss,
Thank you for your December 4, 2013, submittal for a Sign Permit for the Motel 6 located at
1240 Camden Avenue. The Planning Division has conditionally approved your Sign Permit
application (PLN2013-343) for one new 5 square foot internally illuminated "Welcome" wall
sign. The Planning Division finds the sign is consistent with the requirements of Campbell
Municipal Code Section 21.30.080. Please be advised that the window and door graphic is
exempt from City regulation as long as continues to not exceed 25% of the window area.
This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following Conditions of Approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to
sign installation.
2. The wall signage shall be fabricated and installed per the approved project plans, dated as
approved on December 13, 2013.
3. The approved signage shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired
or replaced as necessary.
