Dear Greenback Properties LLC representative,
You are receiving this letter because Greenback Properties LLC is the owner of record for a
property located at 267 East Campbell Avenue. The City of Campbell's Community
Development Department has become aware of a maintenance issue related to a private parking
lot located partially on your property.
The Community Development Department has received a complaint regarding a large hole in the
parking lot surface near the dumpster area, which is approximately seven to 10 inches deep. It
appears that this large hole prevents usage of the parking spaces adjacent to it, and the size and
depth of this hole may create a safety issue for users of the parking lot. There also appear to be a
number of other smaller holes throughout the parking lot area.
According to our records, the private parking lot in question is shared by six separate properties
subject to a parking agreement executed in 1959 and revised in 1998 (see attached documents).
The terms of the parking agreement indicate that the six affected properties are to share decisions
and costs related to parking lot maintenance.
The Community Development Department requests that you examine the parking lot's condition
and work with the other affected property owners to repair the surface as needed. Please contact
me by Wednesday, February 19, 2014, to let me know of the actions you and the other affected
property owners will take to resolve these parking maintenance issues. I can be reached at (408)
