It has been determined that the requested fence exception: 1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety; 2. A more desirable site layout will result; 3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the City; and 4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of the City. Therefore, your request for a fence exception has been approved. The fence exception is granted for the above referenced address, subject to the following conditions: 1. The fence will not exceed seven feet in height and will be constructed with redwood. No lattice is permitted; 2. A fifteen-foot setback will be maintained fi.om the street fi'ont property line; and 3. A building permit will be obtained for construction of the fence since it exceeds six feet in height. Structural calculations will be required for the building permit. This fence height will be installed in three locations and will be added to an existing 7'-0" high redwood fence that is already installed on the property. This existing 7'-0" high fence was constructed by the previous property owner with the co-operation of the three adjacent property owners.
