Dear Business Owner,
Your business license has been reviewed and approved by the Community Development Department, for a
business located at 2901 S Winchester Boulevard, Unit "D". The property is located in the P-D (Planned
Development) Zoning District with a General Plan designation of Central Commercial.
The establishment of your sound studio in a rear unit of the existing commercial building on the property is
determined to be a continuation of the prior storage use on this property. Based upon your description dated
January 13, 2003, the 2,543 square foot space will be used as follows: 591 square feet for recording/practice,
312 square feet for a waiting area and the remainder of the space of approximately 1,640 square feet for
administration and storage.
Operational hours are limited to 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in commercial areas unless a Conditional Use Permit is
obtained. Please adjust your proposed Saturday hours to close at 11:00 p.m. versus the Midnight proposed. The
other proposed hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11 :00 p.m. Monday through Friday are permitted. An application has
been enclosed for your consideration, however, it is not recommended that you pursue this extended hour of
operation for your business.
Please obtain any necessary building, electrical and mechanical permits from the Campbell Building Division,
prior to the installation of any tenant improvements.
Any exterior signage will require approval of a sign permit.
