Winchester Blvd. Campbell, CA 95008 RE: Tree Removal Permit Application File No.: PLN2004-00031 1675 S. Winchester Blvd. r. Dear Mr. Sargent: The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your application for a Tree Removal Permit (pLN2004-00031) to remove three (3) Silver Maple trees ranging in size from 24 to 29 inches in diameter, three (3) Liquid Amber trees ranging in size from 16 to 18 inches in diameter and one 17 inch in diameter Hollywood Juniper tree currently located in the front landscape area adjacent to South Winchester Boulevard on property located at 1675 S. Winchester Boulevard, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant two (2) 36-inch box Flowering Cherry trees and five (5) 24-inch box Flowering Cherry trees in the front landscape area on the property on or before May 9,2004. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the Silver Maple trees are located directly below the PG&E lines and have been severely pruned over the years to the detriment of the trees and the Liquid Amber trees and Hollywood Juniper tree are in close proximity to the building, thus creating potential property damage to the foundation and roof of the sanctuary. It is recommended that the tree be removed by persons who are experienced and bonded for the removal of trees and that the stumps be ground out and the roots removed so there will not be re- growth of the tree. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Fridav. Avril 9. 2004 at 5:00 p.m. The tree may not be removed until after the 10-day appeal period has passed and no appeals have been received. If no appeals are filed, staff will send you a letter to let you know that the Tree Removal Permit is final. A notice of tree removal will be posted on the property where it is visible to the public and a notice will be sent out to all the property owners within 300 feet of the property. 70 North First Street.
