PD Permit - 1985 í CITY OF CAMPBEll 70 NORTH FIRST STREET CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA 95008 (408) 866-2100 Department: Planning December 8, 1986 Mr. Mike Oveyssi Polyplan, Inc. 1901 S. Bascom Ave., Ste. 342 Campbell, CA 95008 RE: Final inspection - 96 S. Third St. (Landscaping, Fencing & Parking Area) - PD 85-02 Dear Mr. Oveyssi: The Planning Department has conducted a final inspection of the above-referenced project and found the installed landscaping to be significantly different than the approved landscape plan for this project. You are requested to either submit a revised landscape and irrigation plan for the Planning Director's approval, or to install the landscaping as indicated on the approved plan. A review of the fencing for this project indicated the fencing to be acceptable, with the exception of that portion of the fencing along the north and south property lines adjacent to Third St. The fencing ordinance would permit a maximum height of 3'6" for the first 15' of the property. If you should have questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to contact the Planning Department at 866-2140. Sincerely, ARTHUR A. KEE PLANNING DIRECTOR J?;~ ~+ TIM J. In light of the circumstances, Hr. Oveyssi was required to construct a new fence across the rear of his property. Your existing fence will be left intact in order that you IT'ay do with it as you please. n I think this should resolve the fencing problem. This is in reference to my letter dated January 16, 1986. It is very important at this time that we get together on this situation, concerning the fence and other problems. Due to the recent heavy rain storm, we had water seeping into our building, which is our office. This has never happened prior to the wall and soil that you have built up against the fence. The damage occured when the heavy equipment hit the fence repeatedly and causing also damage to the electric service. We would like to have the entire fence removed and replaced to it's original state. In view of this we would prefer to have it moved to the property line. When we had the fence installed in 1981, our reason for not having it built directly on the property line was that there was a building that made it impossible for us to place the fence in it's proper place. This building and trees have now been removed by your crew for the new development that is now in progress. Please respond. Very truly yours, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph P.
