Dear Mr. Leong:
At the regular meeting of December 4, 2007, the Campbell City Council gave second reading
to, and thus adopted, the following Ordinances:
Ordinance No. 2098 approving a General Plan Amendment (PLN 2007-14) to the Land
Use Map of the General Plan from Central Commercial to Medium-Density
Residential, for property owned by Merrill Gardens at Campbell, located at 2041 S.
Winchester Boulevard; and
2. Ordinance No. 2099 approving a Planned Development Permit (PLN 2006-165) to
allow the construction of a mixed-use project consisting of 99 senior rental apartment
units, 28 non-age restricted apartment units, a 21-unit dementia unit (convalescent
facility), and 16,043 square feet of retail/restaurant space on property owned by Merrill
Gardens at Campbell and located at 2041-2043, 2075, 2091, 2105 and 2127 S.
Winchester Boulevard, including Findings and subject to the attached amended
Conditions of Approval to include a second bulb-out on Winchester Boulevard.
A certified copy of the above Ordinances is attached for your records.
Please note that the time within which judicial review of this action must be sought is
governed by Section 1094.6 of the California Code of Civil Procedure, unless another statute
(such as California Government Code Section 65009 or some other applicable provision of
law) sets forth a more specific time period.
