Dear Mrs. Prince,
On December 17, 2013, the Community Development Director approved your
Administrative Site & Architectural Review Permit application fora 694 square-foot
single-story addition to the side and rear of an existing single-story residence located at the
above referenced address, subject to the enclosed Conditions of Approval.
This action is effective in ten calendar days, unless appealed in writing to the Community
Development Department by 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2014. (City Hall will be closed for the
holidays during a portion of the appeal period, so the deadline is extended.) If an appeal is
received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt.
A building permit application may be submitted during the appeal period if you wish, but no
building permit can be issued until after the appeal period has ended and the decision of the
Community Development Director is final. The Building Official has indicated that an early
submittal during the appeal period is considered to be at the applicant's risk and must therefore
be accompanied by a Hold Harmless letter and plan check fees which would be non-refundable
in the event that building permits are withdrawn or cannot be issued after an appeal. If you
