The business name we give is "Academy of Fencing Masters". Fencing is among the only 4 sports that were in the first Olympic Games. Many famous people used to fence, among them US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The sport considered to be elitist due to the association with nobility and code of honor. Majority of Ivy league universities have fencing teams and participate in inter-college fencing competitions. Our name reflects the connection to high achievements and life principles and values, taking a name after medieval fencing masters, a high class fencing teachers that taught their students both fencing and life skills as well as preached the code of honor. The facility will be used for the private fencing lessons and fencing training. Our primarily target customer base is young adults above 12-13 years old and adults. Most of the time there will be about 5-10 fencers at a time in a facility focusing on their private lessons with the coaches and working on different fencing exercises. Usually fencing lessons are of 30-45 minutes long. The planned hours of operation is 3pm till 8pm. We would have 2 coaches and the facility will be run by the owner. There would be no any noise from the facility since fencing exercises do not involve any noisy activity. Our goal is to create a high quality fencing establishment that attracts high class clientele, as usually fencing attracts more affluent and educated people. We believe our business would be a great addition to the Campbell city, and we would love to be participants in the vibrant Campbell business community in general and the downtown area in particular. Therefore we kindly ask you to grant us a permit to open our business in your great city.
