Dear Ms. Davidson,
This letter is in response to a request for a Flood Hazard Verification Letter received by this
department. Based on a review of the FEMA Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map
#06085C0237H (enclosed), as amended by a Letter of Map Amendment issued on August 7,
2014 (Case No. 14-09-3443A) (enclosed), the subject tract is located within "Zone X". Zone
X is defined as an area determined to be outside of the 0.2% annual chance .floodplain; such
that it is not within an identified Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Moreover, the City of
Campbell is unaware of any unusual flood conditions that affect suitability of the tract for
development. Therefore, no special permits relative to floodplain status or conditions are
required in order to build.
