Subject: Fruit/Eucalyptus Tree Exemption
Hi Paul,
A tree removal permit application was taken in for 2 eucalyptus trees that. are shown on an approved landscaping plan
from 1971. If I remember correctly, a determination was previously made that a fruit tree would be exempt from tree
removal permit requirements even if it was on an approved landscaping plan (which would generally make it a protected
tree). Can you confirm this is the case and the same would apply to eucalyptus trees?
If so, I will issue a refund for the application fees~and let them know they can proceed with removal.
Thank you,
