Notice of Intent - 11/09/2004 - 121-133 KennedyNOTICE OF INTENT INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION CITY OF CAMPBELL,CALIFORNIA Notîœ is hereby given of the intent of the Cityof Campbell CityCoUncil to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Kennedy Manor Pronect located at 121-133 Kennedy Avenue. The project. consists of a new 8-unit small-lot single-family residential project. The project applications include a Tentative Subdivision Map to subdivide the subject property, a Planned Development Permit for the construction of the residential units, and a Tree Rernoval Permit for the removal of seven protected trees. The Proposed units are two-story and range in size from 2,100 square feet to 2,800 square feet. Each unit consists of an attached two-car garage, covered porch, great room, dining room, kitchen and three bedrooms. ' The subject property is located on the northeast comer of Kennèdy Avenue and Industrial Street. The net project site area is comprised of an area of 0.55 net acres and 0.73 gross acres. The project site is currently developed with a one-story single-family home and detached garage that was built in approximately 1927. The building site is relatively flat with trees and shrubs. Land uses surrounding the project site include single-family homes to the north, industrial businesses and a private school to the south, auto related uses to the east and single-family homes to tbe-weet:.- Based on the Initial Study, it has been concluded that the project described above will not have a significant effect on the environment and a draft Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared. The public review period for the draft Mitigated Negative Declaration begins on October 20, 2004 and ends on November 8, 2004. Any comments must be submitted to the Communitÿ Development Department by 5:00p.m. on November 8. 2004. Copies of the Initial Study and draft Mitigated Negative Declaration are available for review from 8:00a.m. to 5:.00 p.m. at the Community Development Department, City Hall, 70 North First Street, Campbell, California. The tentative dates for the required Public Hearings for this pIoject are November 9, 2004 for the Planning Commission and January 4, 2005, for the City Council.
