Winchester Blvd. Application: Sign Permit Status: Approved Dear Applicant: The Planning Division has conditionally approved your Sign Permit application (PLN2017-266) for (1) 24 square foot projecting sign and (1) 31.5 square foot wall sign both reading "Merrill Gardens" with a logo and arrow, and (1) 17 square foot freestanding sign reading "Merrill Gardens / Senior Living" with a logo, at the above referenced property. The Planning Division finds the signs, as conditioned below, are consistent with the requirements and design standards of Campbell Municipal Code Section 21.30.080.A and the Merrill Gardens Master Sign Plan. This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following Conditions of Approval: 1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to sign installation. 2. The signage shall be fabricated and installed per the project plans, dated as received on August 28, 2017. 3. The approved signage shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced as necessary. 4. Any proposed illumination for the freestanding monument sign shall be concealed in the surrounding shrubbery. 5. Illumination for all three signs shall be directed to avoid glare on surrounding streets or adjacent properties.
