Dear Ms. Van Dongen,
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your September 17, 2019 submittal for a
Temporary Permit application (PLN2019-179) for a Pumpkin Patch and Christmas tree sales
lot within a parking lot located at the above referenced property, pursuant to Campbell City
Council Policy 9.8. (Approval of Temporary Permits for Christmas Tree and Pumpkin Sales).
The permit has been approved on the basis sufficient on -street parking exists to provide the
necessary parking without impacting adjacent residential areas, subject to the following
Conditions of Approval:
1. Approved Project: The sales lot configuration shall substantially conform to the project
plans stamped as approved by the Planning Division on September 19, 2019. Any change
to the approved layout of the sales areas shall require prior Planning Division review and
approval.
2. Hours of Operation: Operation of the sales lots shall be restricted as follows:
i. 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily; consistent with store hours (Res. No. 3978; Cond. 7)
3. Building and Fire Codes: The applicant and/or business owner shall comply with all
applicable building and fire codes.
4. Clean-up: The site shall be cleaned up of any debris beyond the perimeter of the sales lot
every evening.
5. Duration: The sales lots may operate between the following date ranges:
i. Pumpkin Patch: September 19, 2019 to October 31, 2019
ii. Christmas Tree Lot: November 13, 2019 to December 25, 2019

The site shall be cleared of any material and/or fencing associated with the sales lot within
ten (10) days of the end of the sales event.
6. Temporary Signage: Temporary signage shall comply with the Campbell Sign Ordinance,
subject to approval of a Temporary Sign Permit.
7. Previous Approvals: All restrictions imposed by previous City permit approvals (including
but not limited to City Council Ordinance Nos. 1841, 1901 & 2015), shall remain in full
force and effect. In the event of a conflict between the conditions approved herein and
previous approvals, the conditions of the prior approvals shall prevail.
