Dear Ms. Berry,
The Planning Division has reviewed your request for a one-year extension of time to a
Conditional Use Permit (PLN2017-229), approved by Planning Commission Resolution No.
4410 on September 12, 2018, which allowed establishment of a "public works maintenance
facility and storage yard" on the above referenced property.
Campbell Municipal Code Sec. 21.56.030.0 requires an applicant to justify an extension of time
by demonstrating that a good faith effort to fulfill the requirements of the permit has been made.
Planning Division staff has reviewed your supplemental narrative wherein you state that the
District has experienced "delays to the project's design development timeline due to the
unanticipated nature of a subsequent structural evaluation [performed by Biggs_ Cardosa and
Associates] that was needed to determine the feasibility of insulating the service bays of the
building."
Based on your application request, including the supplemental narrative, as well. as our ongoing
telephone and email communications over the last year, the Planning Division has determined a
showing a good cause for the requested extension of time. Therefore, pursuant . to Campbell
Municipal Code Sec. -21.56.03.0.D.1, your request for an extension of time has been granted. The
expiration date of the aforementioned Conditional Use Permit is hereby extended to September
22, 2019, subject to all existing Conditions of Approval provided in Planning Commission
Resolution No. 4410 (copy enclosed).. _
