Dear Mr. McDougall,
The City of Campbell is pleased to submit the City Council approved Final 2015-2023 Housing Element.
The City Council approved the final element following the public hearing on February 17, 2015. The
approved Housing Element is virtually identical to the Draft Housing Element your staff reviewed last
fall, except for the following non -typographic changes that were made to the Element are described
below.
1. A correction in the total number of Opportunity Site units was made, from 1,218, to 1,161, to
correct a formula error in the spreadsheet used to calculate the total number of units. The
corrected value still exceeds the City's RHNA of 933 units. This change has been made globally
throughout the Housing Element and Appendices.
2. A change was made to Program H-2.4d based upon public testimony at the January 27, 2015
Planning Commission public hearing. The expanded language was also approved by the City
Council. The expanded text is shown in bold. Program H-2.4d now reads as follows:
"Program H-2.4d: Persons with Disabilities. Coordinate with other agencies and
organizations, such as San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), Housing Choices
Coalition, and Bay Area Housing Coalition, in meeting the needs of persons with
disabilities.
Implementation Obiective:
(1) Work with San Andreas Regional Center to increase the availability of information
on programs to assistance persons with disabilities.
