PLN2-19-61 — 553 Latimer Cl
Hello Paul,
We met last week concerning the tree removal at 553 Latimer Circle. After sitting down with my director he said that the
tree looked healthy and questioned why an arborist was hired when it is stated on our application to not hire one. The
reason being is that the arborist would be inclined to give certain determinations based on working for you, rather than
being impartial. Our department will often hire an arborist to do the report only (no removal) in order to get a non -
biased report. At this point considering the tree appears to be healthy and there are no other findings we will either
deny the tree removal or if you would like we can proceed with an arborist report at a fee of $570. 1 can facilitate that
inspection/report after receiving payment. Turn -around time is a couple weeks.
Please let me know if you would like to move forward,
Thank you
