Dear Ernest,
The Community, Development Director has conditionally approved your Fence Exception
application for a 7-foot tall side and rear yard fence located at the above referenced property. The
Community Development Director has determined that the requested Fence Exception satisfies
the required findings as specified by Campbell Municipal Code (CMC) Sec. 21.18.060. Your
request for a Fence Exception application has been approved, subject to the following conditions
of approval:
Approved Project: The fence shall substantially conform to the approved plans stamped as
received on April 16, 2019, except as modified by the conditions herein.
2. Fence Height: The overall height of the side yard fence shall be no taller than 6-feet above
natural grade with a 1 foot lattice (7 feet total) and a 6-foot tall rear, yard fence.
3. Setback: The fence may not be any closer than 3 feet from the property line and landscaping
must be planted and maintained, to grow along the height and length of the fence (bushes,
small trees etc).
4. New Fences/Walls: Any newly proposed fencing and/or walls shall comply with Campbell
Municipal Code Section 21.18.060 and shall be submitted for review and approval by the
Community Development Department.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development Director's decision,
unless an appeal is received in writing at' the City of Campbell Community Development
Department by June 17, 2019. If an appeal is received, you will be immediately notified of its
