Dear Mr. Smith:
The Planning Department has reviewed your proposal for the expansion of the
referenced drive-in and offers the following concerns or comments:
1. The provided parking appears insufficient. A review of the food
preparation area at 1 space per 40 sq. ft. would require 31 parking
spaces and the fixed seating at 1 space per 3 seats would require
14 spaces or a total of 45 spaces for the project.
2. A preliminary review of this proposal in light of the on -site
circulation and the driveway locations by the City's Traffic Engineer
indicates that the present circulation is not recommended if an
intensification of this use is prorosed.
If you should have any questions regarding this information, please do not
hesitate to contact the Planning Department at (408) 866-2140.

the expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in tnis chapter.

This property is directly south of the location which was approved
on 7 February, 1966 and is presently developed with a residence and
garage.
The applicant's plan has not provided for the 17' dedication to
Bascom Avenue Official Plan Line but there is sufficient area to
adjust the parking, building and landscaping accordingly.
Staff *ecommen:a approval subject to the following conditions:
