The major objection of Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. to the conditional approvai of the pole sign is the elimination of the lower portion, 2 feet in heighth, of the sign itself. The result of that decision eliminates what we consider "good" designing and makes the sign take on the effect of a "tomb stone." Review Committee, has approved your request for signing for Carl's Jr. Restaurant to be located on property known as 1976 South Bascom Avenue, Campbell with the following modifications: (1) Elimination of "Drive thru" from the face of the pole sign. (2) Reduction of :' from the bottom of the pole sign -- the face of the sign to remain 5'-6" by 6' with a 6' wood column. If you wish to appeal this decision, Section 21.68.110 of the Campbell Municipal Code provides that, "Any decision of the Planning rirector, either for conditional approval or denial, may be appealed to the Planning Commission. Such appeal shall be in writing and shall set forth the reason(s) for appeal and must be filed with the Secretary of the Planning Commissionvith- in ten days from the date of decision of the Planning Director.
