the Office of the City Attorney, 70 N. First St., Campbell,
California on Tuesday, January 21, 1986 at 2:30 p.m. to consider
your alleged violation of Sections 21,68.030 and 21.63.110 of
the Campbell Municipal Code, to wit:
Failure to remove unapproved signs and failure to comply
with conditional sign application approval.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that you should appear at the above time
and place to SHOW CAUSE why a court action should not be filed against
you by reason of said alleged violation. You should bring with you
any and all records, documents, or other evidence which may establish
that said violation does not exist, or that court action should not
be brought against you.

Dear Mr. Keh:
On September 9, 1995, the Planning Director conditionally
approved your request to reface an existing freestanding sign
and to erect a new canopy sign. This approval was subject to
the conditions discussed in the attached letter.
As of this date, no action has been taken to comply with this
conditional approval.
Please contact the Planning Office within 5 days, on or before
January 8, 1986, so that you may provide a schedule in which
this property will be brought into conformance with the City's
sign ordinance.
Failure to provide a schedule acceptable to the Planning Director
and to contact the Planning Department within the specified time
will result in the referral of this matter to the City Attorney's
office for issuance of a citation.
If you should have any questions regarding this matter, please
contact the Planning Office.

Dear Mr. Keh:
Please be advised that the Planning Director has conditionally
approved your signing request to reface an existing freestanding
sign and to erect a new canopy sign on the referenced property.
This approval is subject to the following conditions:
1) Removal of all other signing which has been erected
or painted without the benefit of sign permits. The
Planning Staff noted at the time of an on -site in-
spection that numerous wall sigrs are painted on the
building, a roof mounted sign is erected over the
driveway and n—erous signs attached to tha free-
standing sign were all present on this site. This
sign approval requires removal of these signs.
2) Section 21.68.090 of the Sig;! Ordinance requires that
signs shall be architecturally compatible with the
buildings and structures with which they are associated
as well as the surrounding area. Insofar as possible,
freestanding signs shall be of similar design, proportion,
materials and color as the associated building. In light
of this requirement, a condition of this sign approval
requires that the support pole for the proposed free-
standing sign be faced with a split face brick or a stucco
finish similar to the building elevations.
3) The cabinet of the proposed freestanding sign and canopy
sign should match. It is recommended that the cabinets
be painted white to me.tch the building or a light grey
to match the brick color. Both of the requested signs
should have the same cabinet sign colors.
A revised plan must be submitted demonstrating compliance to these
conditions.

you are required to comply with the conditions of approval within
two weeks, on or before September 24, 1985. Failure to :-omply
with this time schedule will result in the issuance of a citation.
