Swett: Please be advised that the Community Development Director has conditionally approved your request to reface an existing freestanding illuminated sign on the above referenced property'or the Denny s Restaurant. This approval s subject to the following conditions. 1. The changes to the monument sign will comply with the plans as submitted to the Community Development Department. The dimensions of the sign area of the 'Denny's" lettering will be 10 feet 4 inches long and 3 feet 4 inches high, with a total sign area of 34 % square feet. The dimensions of the sign area of the "cocktails' lettering will be 4 feet 6 inches long and 8 inches high, with a total sign area of 3 square feet. 2. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building or electrical permits from the Building Division prior to refacing of the sign Please find attached a copy of your approved plans. I have enclosed what I believe is the appropriate paperwork that will allow you to process/approve the requested face change. You will find three full sets of drawings showing the site plan and elevations, (I have high lighted the location of the sign that Dennys would l:.ke to change the face on). 1 have also included the completed application, the second page has the property owners signature. There is one color rendition and three biack and white copies of the new sign face calling out all of the colors and materials. Denny's would like to change the face only. There is NO change to the location, dimensions, electrical or height of the sign. They simply want to replace the old face wi!h a new one. There is no significant change to the colors as you will see by reviewing the attached drawings. The Manufactureggnstaller is Superior Electrical Advertising, Inc. Their contractors license number is 271598 (C45), expires 2-97. 1 have attached a copy of their Certification of Workers Comp. Insurance for your file also. I understand the fee for processing this application is $120.00 which I have also enclosed.
