Dear Mr. Masterson,
Please be advised that the Community Development Department has approved a portion of the sign
application referenced above. The portion of the sign application approved is indicated on the plans
(Sign A). We are unable to approve the second suspended sign (Sign B) for the following reasons:
1. The sign ordinance permits one wall sign per tenant More or larger signs than those permitted
under the sign ordinance are subject to approval by the Planning Commission.
2. The type of sign submitted (an arcade/suspended sign) is inconsistent with the sign program
approved for the Pruneyard Shopping Center.
Two copies of the approved plan are enclosed for your records. If you should have any questions,
