Dear Ms. Browning:
Please be advised that the Community Development Department has reviewed your application on behalf
o1 Church of Scientology for an 8 square foot building mounted sign to be located on the north elevation of
the existing office building Iccated et 2155 3. Bascom Avenue and has conditionally approved your
application based upon the following provisions:
1. The signage and its installation shall comply with the plans as submitted and approved on h'nvember
9, 1998. ne approval is for an 8 square foot building mounted sign to be located on the north
elevation of the existing office building located at 2195 S. Bascom Avenue. The proposed lighting
shall not cause glare on surrounding streets and/or on adjacent properties.
2. The applicant shall obtain building permits as required by the Building Division.

RE: Review of Sign application (S 98-32) for Church of Scientology at 2155 SBascom Avenue
Dear Ms. Browning:
The Community Development Department has reviewed your application (S 98-32) on behalf of Church
of Scientology for an 8.33 square foot wall sign to be located on the building located at 2155 S. Bascom
Avenue. Upon review and pursuant to our conversation, the application has been deemed incomplete.
The following information should be submitted to complete yo-ar application:
1. A site plan which shows the location of the sign on the building and the proposed lighting to
illuminate the sign.
2. Details of the lighting fixtures and lighting to be used to illuminate the sign (including type of
lighting and wattage).
Please submit the above -mentioned revisions and/or additional information to the Community
Development Department at your soonest convenience so that we may proceed with the processing of
your application.
