DISCUSSION Background Applicant's Request: The applicant is requesting approval of a Use Permit. for an off -sale beer and wine license, in conjunction with a speciality food and gift store. Description of Proposal: The prorosed gift shop will carry a wide variety of items. The operation will also include assembly of gift baskets, which will include beer and wines, theretore. th. - ,licant is required to obtain a Use Permit to sell beer and wine. Location: The proposed business will occupy approximately 1100 square feet of retail space in the Pruneyard Shopping Center, in a C-.-S (General Commercial) Zoning District. Similar Uses in the Area: Estab I stir enLs serving or selling alcohol in proximity to the proposed business are, as follows: 1) Hickory Pit Restaurant, 2) Mini Mart, 3) Togos.
