Subject:Mitigated Negative Declaration @ 680-750 E. McGlincy Lane, Campbell, CA 95008
Dear Daniel Fama,
My name is Meghan Piano and I am writing this letter on behalf of my parents, Sandra and David Piano, as a letter
OPPOSING the Mitigated Negative Declaration proposed for 680-750 E. McGlincy Lane in Campbell, CA. Since 1987, my
parents have lived at 661 Regas Drive in Campbell. Their backyard is directly behind the property in question.
Our family strenuously opposes the Mitigated Negative Declaration. As it is, the current McGlincy Business Center
Project, located at this same address, has created quite a disturbance. One only need pull the 9-1-1- records from my
parents phone number (408) 377-7958, to see the numerous complaints that have been called in by them against the
people using the development. Their bedroom window, on the second floor and staring into the parcels in question,
allows them to see and hear all manner of things going on at that development. As it is, there is a serious problem with
dumpster divers, people loitering in their vehicles in the parking lot, and loud music. While these are private individuals
who the city cannot be accountable for, there are also disturbances from the people who conduct business in those
lots. There are regularly large semi-trucks in the parking lot running their vehicles and unloading at all hours of the night
– directly in violation of the rules that have already been placed up these businesses by the zoning map and use
permits.
A Trojan Self-Storage Project will only serve to further decrease the value of our property and negatively affect the
peace and quiet of our home. It is well-know that self-storage areas often attract crime. They are not well-regulated
and it will continue to attract the types of individuals who are discussed above. Further, there is no way that the police
will be able to control loading and unloading of vehicles and those making noise at all hours of the day and night.
In conclusion, our family strongly opposes the Mitigated Negative Declaration that would allow the E. McGlincy Lane
Properties to be merged and would allow a Campbell Trojan Self-Storage Project to be opened.

Warm Regards,
Meghan Piano
