COUNCIL OFTHE CITYOF CAMPBELL AMENDING
TITLE 21 AND TITLE 5 OF THE CAMPBELL
MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH ANEW LIST OF
ALLOWABLE LAND USES FOR THE C-3 (CENTRAL
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) ZONING DISTRICT
INCLUDING RELATED TEXTCORREC 11ONS AND
REVISIONS,
TheCity Councit of die City of Campbell does ordain as
follows:
SECTION L Stating that the intent of the ordinance is to
encourage a compatible mix of uses in the Downtown
and to reinforce East Campbell Avenue as a pedestrian_
oriented retail street.
SECTION I Noting that the Ordinance is categorically
exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQAI pursuant to Guidelines Section 15o61.b.3.
SECTION 3 Modifying Section 21,30.060 1C-3 (Central
Business District) zoning district) of the Campbell
Municipal Code as follows:
• 21-10
.060.A -Purpose: Revises the purpose of the
section
• 2L10.060.8 - Land uses in the C-3 (Cenhat Business
District) zoning district: Adds a new land use table (Table
2-1ll to reptace the previous land use lists.

clarifications to the Downtown sign provisions.
SECTION q: Modifies Section 2L46.o/o (Special findings
for liquor establishments) to reference the Downtown
Alcohol Beverage Policy,
SECTION 5: Modifies Section 5.26.010(c)(2) to revise

he Live Entertainment Permit provisions to reference
pedestrian -oriented activities.
SECTION 6: Modifies Section 2L72.020.D to revise the
definition of five entertainment and/or dancing for
internal consistency.
SECTION 7 This is a summary version of Ordinance 2266.
A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance
shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk located at 70
N- First Street, Campbell California at least five days prior
to the regular City CouncilMeeting of September L 2020.
This ordinance shalt become effective thirty (30) days
foflowing its passage and adoption and a summary shalt
be published within 15 days upon passage and adoption
in the Metro, a newspaperof genera( circulation in the
