Maria,
I looked into the history of the site. There is good news as an existing entitlement exists, (PLN-2011-
31) which allows for a commercial school to operate at this location, which allows the same use as
your proposed ESL School. As with any Use Permit, certain parameters that govern the operation. I
have attached the use permit to this email, which outlines the number of classrooms, classroom size,
number of students allowed, hours of operation etc which shall regulate how your business
operates.
If you are happy to move forward under these conditions, you can simply apply for a Business
License to begin operation. If you need to modify any of the conditions as provided, you will need to
seek an entitlement from the Planning Division, which requires a public hearing before the Planning
Commission.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
-Larissa

The name is California College of Communications, Inc. and we have been in business for 31

We started at the present location on January 3, 2022.

We were only offered the rent for 6 months and after that it has been month to month. We
may be asked to leave if the building is sold or destined for other purposes.
