This would be a continuation of a legal, but nonconforming use, which can continue at this location, as long as the use is not intensified. We do mostly cosmetic work and upgrades. You don't often get email from jack@41designs.com. Learn why this is important Do we just resubmit the same forum we did previously? Or is there a very simple and quick way to change the address? What do you think a timeline would be on a decision so we can let the landlord know? As it looks like 100 Cristich Lane is off the table, we were wondering if the additional forum was needed in anypossible location, or only for 100 Cristich. We are looking at 901 Camden Ave Unit 2 now. The entire building is general automotive repair by the looks of it, andthe previous tenant that recently moved out was general auto repair. I would recommendconfirming that the site currently meets these requirements prior to application submittal, otherwise as part of yourapplication you will need to propose site improvements. On Tue, Jun 18, 2024 at 15:21 Planning Division <planning@campbellca.gov> wrote: Thanks for the quick reply and for the information below, Chris. Much appreciated. The business requires an Administrative Conditional Use Permit (this is a planning permit) prior to business operations and issuance of the business license. Here is the application checklist of items that will need to be submitted to the Planning Division for review: https://www.campbellca.gov/DocumentCenter/View/15187/Land-Use-Change-Applications The Administrative Conditional Use Permit requires staff review and a decision by staff, so it is easier and generally faster than other permit types. Please see the below screencapture of the city’s municipal code, noting the Administrative Conditional Use Permit requirement. The “AC” means an Administrative Conditional Use Permit. “X” means it’s not allowed, and “C” means a Conditional Use Permit is required (which requires a public hearing and approval from Planning Commission; this is generally a longer process). Therefore, at this time, unfortunately, the business license cannot be approved until the Administrative Conditional Use Permit is applied for and approved. Based on the description provided, it looks like this is a motor vehicle use. Can you please clarify how big the tenant space is and whether there will be any painting occurring at the premises?
