In response to your request for a zoning verification letter received by this department on March
28,2005, please be advised of the following:
The zoning and use of the above-referenced property is governed by the laws' and regulations of
the City of Campbell. The property is currently zoned P-D (planned Development) and the
current underlying General Plan designation is Professional Office. The Professional Office
General Plan land use designation permits administrative, professional and research uses that
may provide a customer service or be more corporate in nature. Office uses are dispersed
throughout the City, since they are permitted in most non-residential zoning districts. Because
office uses generally have a less intense impact on adjacent land uses than other commercial
uses, they often provide a buffer between residential and commercial or industrial uses.
The abutting zoning designations are R-1-16 (Single-Family Residential) to the north and west,
and M-l (Light Industrial) to the south and east.
This property received approval of a Planned Development Permit (pD 83-05) on November 1,
1983 for the construction of a 37,680 mini-storage warehouse facility, 800 square foot living unit
for a live-in manger, and an 800 square foot office. Please find the attached City Council
Resolution and conditions of approval for the project. No site plan, elevations, or floor plans
were in the file for this project.
To the best of our knowledge, the subject property and the improvements thereon are in
compliance with the City of Campbell's building and zoning laws, rules, and regulations.
The requested information from the Building Division regarding Certificates of Occupancy will
require a separate application to the Building Division and the payment of a separate fee. Please
