Public Hearing to consider the application of Mr. Safwat A. Malek, on
behalf of the San Jose Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church, for a
Conditional Use Permit (PLN2004-60) to allow an addition to an
existing building and the expansion of use of the property as a public
assembly use and a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2004-162) for the
removal of one 30-inch diameter Palm tree on property owned by the
San Jose Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church located at 395 W.
Rincon Avenue in a P-F (Public Facilities) Zoning District. A
Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared for this project.
Planning Commission decision final, unless appealed in writing to the

Tentative Parcel Map (PLN2004-157) to create two lots from one; and
two Site and Architectural Review Permits (PLN2004-158 & 159) to

owned by Mr. Mike Paydar located at 1408 Capri Drive in an R-I-I0
(Single Family Residential) Zoning District. Staff is recommending
that this project be deemed Categorically Exempt under CEQA.
