Dear Mr. Goddard:
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your sign application (PLN2004-127) for one new wall
sign located at 1875 S. Bascom Avenue and found that it is consistent with the Prune Yard Master Sign
Plan. The new wall sign is 33 square feet and consists of internally illuminated individual channe11etters
reading, "Tandoori Oven."
This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following conditions of approval:
1.
The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to sign
installation.
2.
The proposed wall sign shall be fabricated and installed per the approved plans dated as approved
on November 1, 2004.
3.
The applicant shall repair and repaint the wall area to match the existing.
4.
The sign shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced as
necessary.

Dear Mr. Goddard:
The Planning Division has reviewed your Sign Permit application for a new wall sign for
Tandoori Oven in the Prune Yard Shopping Center located at 1875 S. Bascom Ave.
The proposed sign must meet all requirements of the Prune Yard Shopping Center Master Sign
Plan which stipulates that for this area of the shopping center new wall signs shall be internally
lit, channel letters/logos mounted to the wall. The maximum square footage of these signs would
be one square foot of sign area for every linear foot of business frontage, with a minimum of 20
square feet and a maximum of 50 square feet.
Your application has been deemed incomplete. The following information/items need to be
submitted for a complete application:
1. A site plan indicating the footprint of the tenant space, the linear footage of the business
frontage, and the location of the proposed sign.
2. A sign detail indicating the dimensions, letter size, square footage of the entire sign, colors,
materials, and illumination.
