Bascom Ave. Dear Ms. Carroll: The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2004-102) to remove twenty-nine (29) Tulip trees, 6 of which have a diameter greater than 12 inches, located in a landscape area adjacent to the driveways and parking areas on property located at 3589 S. Bascom Avenue in an P-D (Planned Development) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant six (6) 24-inch box trees and twenty-three (23) 15 gallon trees in the locations specified by the approved replanting plan on or before December 5, 2004. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the Tulip trees are diseased or planted in restricted planting areas and thus cannot be controlled or remedied through reasonable preservation and/or preventative procedures and practices such that the public health or safety requires their removal. , It is recommended that the tree be removed by persons who are experienced and bonded for the removal of trees and that the stumps be ground out and the roots removed so there will not be re-growth of the trees, This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Fridav. November 5. 2004 at 5:00 p.m. The trees may not be removed until after the 10-day appeal period has passed and no appeals have been received.
