Dear Ms. Moniz:
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the application for construction of 47 single-
family detached residential units on a 5.39 gross acre site located at the southwest comer of
Woodglen Drive and Campbell Avenue, received by our department on October 20,2003.
The City of Campbell has the following suggestions:
);> Orient the homes on lots adjacent to Campbell Avenue and Woodglen Drive towards
Campbell Avenue and Woodglen Drive instead of away from the street to provide
consistency with the existing residences on Campbell A venue.
);> Provide a pedestrian access from Campbell Avenue between Lot 39 and Lot 38 to help
better serve the future residents of the development to Campbell A venue.
);> Require Covenants, Codes and Restrictions (CC&R's) to ensure proper maintenance of
the landscaping and fencing along Campbell Avenue and Woodglen Drive.
);> Provide a streetscape treatment along Campbell A venue that utilizes street trees, similar
to the streetscape treatment at Kirkwood Plaza, which is located to the east of the project
site. This will provide a consistent streetscape treatment on the south side of Campbell
A venue
