The following issues need to be addressed prior to the issuance of a building pennit: 1. Lot Coverage Calculation: Provide an accurate total lot coverage calculation in the "Tabulation" table on sheet A-O. Lot coverage includes the first floor of the primary and all accessory buildings on a lot (measured to the outside surface of exterior walls) including garages and covered porches (measured to the posts). Building coverage does not include eave overhangs, trellises, or architectural features (e.g. chimneys, bay windows, etc). 2. Color and Material Samples: Please submit color/material samples for the wall, trim, and roof. The colors/materials should be called out on the plans and should be substantially different from the proposed adjacent home to provide some variation between the two. 3. Tree Protection Plan: Please provide a tree protection plan for the 36-inch Oak tree on the rear portion of the site for the preservation of the tree during grading and construction. 4. Decorative Pavement Treatment: Staff recommends that a one-foot wide brick decoration be added to the sides of the driveway for the entire length of the driveway. 5. Architecture: Staff recommends that the following revisions be made to the elevations: a. Staff recommends that a double front door be used instead of a single front door. b. Architectural details should be carried throughout all four elevations of the home.
