Dear Mr. Nicholas:
The Community Development Department has reviewed your Fence Exception application for a fence
located at 331 Harrison Avenue. The Fence Exception would allow a seven-foot six-inch fence/wall
along the rear property line where a six-foot fence is allowed.
The Community Development Director, upon recommendation from the Public Works Director, has
determined that the requested Fence Exception:
1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety;
2. Will result in a more desirable site layout from a maintenance and use standpoint;
3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of the change; and
4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the
general welfare of the City.
Therefore, this Fence Exception application has been approved subject to the following Condition of
Approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Campbell Building Division
prior to installation of the fence.
A copy of the approved plans are enclosed. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to

prevent car headlight beams from reaching our bedrooms at night.
This request is based upon our observations and experiences after having
owned and lived at this property for over fourteen years.
Signed agreement of the owners of our rear property at 328 Central Ave. is
attached.
Thank you for your understaning.
Robert Nicholas
