RE:
Tree Removal Permit Application
File No.: PLN2004-00064
940 Hedegard Avenue
Dear Ms, Gifford:
The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your application for a Tree
Removal Permit (PLN2004-00064) to remove one (1) Incense Cedar tree 28 inches in diameter,
located in the rear yard on property located at 940 Hedegard Avenue, subject to the following
condition of approval for tree replacement:
1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 36-inch box Cedar tree in the rear yard on the
property on or before July 21, 2004,
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a
supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the Incense Cedar tree is structurally
weak and in close proximity to the adjacent building, thus creating potential property damage to
the adjacent residential dwelling.
It is recommended that the tree be removed by persons who are experienced and bonded for the
removal of trees and that the stumps be ground out and the roots removed so there will not be re-
growth of the tree.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (408) 866-2142 or via
email at melindad@cityofcampbell.com,
Sincerely,
Melinda M, Denis
