Re:
Sign Permit Application
File No,: PLN2004-122
1522 McCoy Ave,
Dear Mr. Kimm:
The Planning Division has reviewed your sign application (PLN2004-122) for two new
freestanding signs located at 1522 McCoy Avenue for the S1. Thomas of Canterbury Church.
Your application has been deemed incomplete. The City's Sign Ordinance does not allow
readerboard signs for public/semi-public and institutional developments (i.e. churches). Please
remove the readerboard portion of the signs and submit revised plans. Once the readerboard
portion of the signs has been removed the Sign Permit may be approved.
Additionally, the application does not indicate whether there will be any illumination for the
proposed signs. Please indicate on the plans whether you wish to provide illumination for the
signs. If you do wish to provide illumination, the Sign Ordinance requires that illumination be
provided by interior lights or exterior lights concealed in shrubbery or decorative structures.
If you should have any questions, please contact me at (408) 866-2193 or by email at
stephani ew@cityofcampbell.com.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Willsey ~
