A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM CAMPBELL-SAN JOSE WEST ROTARY
FOUNDATION FOR THE CAMPBELL ADULT CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $800 AND
APPROVE AN ASSOCIATED BUDGET AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, Campbell -San Jose West Rotary Foundation has donated a check in the amount
of $800.00 to the City of Campbell with the intention that the funds be used to support the
Lunar New Year event; and
WHEREAS the Campbell Adult Center provides programs and activities to keep older adults
active and engaged in the community and alleviate social isolation; and
WHEREAS this donation offsets the cost of entertainment for the Lunar New Year event; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council accept the donation of $800
and approve a Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 budget appropriations increase of $800 to General
Fund account 101.526.7441 offset by a revenue estimate increase of $800 to General Fund
account 101.526.4813.
