A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ACCEPTING
A DONATION OF $10,500 FROM THE JOAN EVANS BOHNETT TRUST FOR THE
SUPPORT OF THE CAMPBELL HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND AINSLEY HOUSE AND
APPROVING AN ASSOCIATED BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, Joan Evans Bohnett was a respected preservation advocate and
philanthropist whose legacy continues through the charitable giving of the Joan Evans
Bohnett Trust; and
WHEREAS, the Joan Evans Bohnett Trust has made a generous donation to support the
public benefit and ongoing operations of the Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley
House; and
WHEREAS, the donation of $10,500 reflects the Trust's continued commitment to historic
preservation, education, and community enrichment in the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, this unrestricted contribution will be used to support museum operations,
exhibits, educational programming, and preservation efforts at the Campbell Historical
Museum and Ainsley House; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of this donation will increase the Museum's revenue by $10,500,
further assisting the City in fulfilling its mission to preserve and interpret Campbell's
historical legacy for the benefit of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts a donation of $10,500 from the Joan Evans Bohnett Trust for the support
of the Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley House and approves an associated
budget adjustment.
