A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING COMMUNITY SERVICES OFFICER JOHN BRIDGEMAN ON HIS OVER
30 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, John Bridgeman began his service to the City of Campbell as a Community
Services Officer in May 1994, dedicating more than three decades to public service; and
WHEREAS, Community Services Officer John Bridgeman has been a consistent and
trusted presence in the downtown business district, providing parking enforcement
services with professionalism, fairness, and approachability; and
WHEREAS, for decades, Community Services Officer John Bridgeman has provided
citation sign -off services, assisting countless members of the public in resolving fix -it
tickets and navigating City processes with patience and respect; and
WHEREAS, Community Services Officer John Bridgeman's daily interactions, demeanor,
and commitment to service have played a significant role in shaping positive perceptions
of the City of Campbell and its Police Department; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his longstanding service and meaningful connection to the
community, John Bridgeman was honored as the 2015 Celebrate Campbell Honoree,
reflecting the high regard in which he is held by residents, businesses; and City
leadership; and
WHEREAS, Community Services Officer John Bridgeman's impact on the Campbell
community extends beyond his assigned duties, exemplifying the values of public service,
community engagement, and dedication that define the City of Campbell;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
recognizes and commends Community Services Officer John Bridgeman on his
retirement from the City of Campbell after over 30 years of service.
