AN'ORDINANCE OF,THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AMENDING
CHAPTER 2.040F`THE CAMP13ELL MUNICIPAL
CODE REGARDING COUNCIL COMMITTEE -
APPOINTMENTS.
WHEREAS,
Campbell City Cquncil0rdiner ce#1312, as
subsequently amended by Ordinance;#2117 . -
established the:timeline for committee appointments'
of the :City Council: and
WHEREAS;,'Seciibn 2.04."0 provides that the Mayor: -
mayappoint Councilmembers to committees on an
annual basis.; and
WHEREAS the City Council desires to amend the
timeline to be annually end thereafter, as needed,at
`ltie°discretion of the Mayor,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THATTHECITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFCAMPBELLDOES HEREBY,
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
'Sechon 1: 2:04.050 of the Campbell Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows With`strikethroughs
(strikethioughs) mdicatirig deleted text; and
underlining (underlining) indicating added text:
. 2-04.050 - Committees - Appointment.
Annually, Tthe Mayor may appoint Councilmembers_
tocommittees at the beginning of the mayor's term a;'
and at any time thereafter as deemed appropriate -and
