Dear Mr. McMurray:
The Planning Division has reviewed and conditionally approved your sign application for a new 20
square foot, internally illuminated, freestanding sign located at the above referenced address. Your
application has been approved subject to the following conditions of approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to
sign installation.
2. The sign shall be fabricated and installed per the approved plans dated as approved by the
Planning Division on February 17,2005.
3. The sign shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced as
necessary.

Dear Applicant:
The Planning Division has reviewed your sign application for a new freestanding sign at the above
referenced address. Your application has been deemed incomplete. The following issues need to be
addressed prior to the approval of the Sign Permit:
1. Prohibited Signs: The A-frame sign that currently is in front of the business needs to be removed
immediately as portable signs such as A-frame signs are prohibited in the City of Campbell.
2. Time and Temperature Display: Staff recommends that the time and temperature display portion of
the sign be removed from the plans as this is a readerboard sign that would require Planning
Commission approval. .
3. Architectural Compatibility: Signs shall be constructed to be architecturally compatible with the
buildings for which they are associated. Staff recommends that the proposed 18-inch by 48-inch sign
base be brick to match the brick that is on the building.
