NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 3, 2024,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 17.54 of the
Campbell Municipal Code, the Campbell City Council
adapted Resolution 13234 declaring that all weeds
growing upon any private property or in any public
1 street or alley, as defined in Section 17.54.010 of the
Campbell Municipal Code, constitute a public nuisance,
which nuisance must be abated by the destruction or
removal thereof.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that property owners
shall without delay remove all such weeds from their
property, and the abutting half of the street in front
and alleys, if any, behind such property, and between
the lot lines thereof as extended, or such weeds will be
destroyed or removed and such nuisance abated by the
County Agricultural Commissioner's Office, in which
case the cost of such destruction or removal will be
assessed upon the lots and lands from which, or from
the front or rear of which, such lands until paid, and will
be collected upon the next tax roll upon which general
municipal taxes are collected. All property owners
having any objections to the proposed destruction or
removal of such weeds are hereby notified to attend a
meeting of said City to be held in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, located at 70 North First Street,
Campbell, California, on Monday, January 13. 2025, at
7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be
heard, when -their objections will be heard andgiven
due consideration.
Interested persons may appear and be heard at this
hearing. Please be advised that if you challenge the
nature of the above in court, you may be limited
to raising only those issues you of someone else
raised at the Public Hearing described in this'Notice,
or in written correspondence delivered to the City
Clerk at, or prior to, the Public Hearing. Questions
may be addressed to the Community Development
Department at (408) 866-2140.
This public hearing will be conducted in personas well.

Act, the City of Campbell will generally, upon request,
provide appropriate aids and services leading to

disabilities so they can participate equally in the
public hearings, including qualified sign language
interpreters, assistive listening devices, and other
ways of making information and communications
accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or
vision impairments. Anyone who requires auxiliary
aid or service for effective communication should
contact the City Clerk's Office at 70 N. First Street.
