NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Campbell has set the hour
of 7:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the City Hall Council
Chambers, at 70 N. First Street, Campbell, California, as the first meeting to hear public
testimony and consider amending provisions of the Campbell Municipal Code to revise
the business license tax rates by 2% as allowed by City of Campbell Ordinance 2132 and
to account for inflation, effective in Fiscal Year 2027. Business activities and the
corresponding tax amounts are listed in the published chart. The business license taxes
are collected at time of business license application, and invoiced annually by the City
upon renewal date. The total amount of business license tax to be collected by the City is
estimated at $ 700,000.

Subsequently, the City Council of the City of Campbell has set the hour of 7:00 p.m., or
shortly thereafter, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in the City Chalt Council Chambers, at 70
N. First Street, Campbell, California, as the time and place for a public hearing to consider
adoption of the Ordinance amending provisions of the Campbell Municipal Code to Professional
officially revise the business license tax rates for Fiscal Year 2027,
Interested persons may appear and be heard at these hearings. Please be advised that if you
challenge the nature of the above in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you
or someone else raised at the public meetings described in this Notice, or in written
correspondence delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to, the Public Hearing. Questions may,
be addressed to the Finance Department at (405) 866-2111.
This public hearing will be conducted in compliance with the Brown Act and held in person,
however interested persons may attend electronically, to do so please register to attend at:

information about joining the meeting. The City Council meeting will be live -streamed on
Channel 26, the City's website and on YouTube

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Campbell will generally, upon
request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified
persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the public hearings, including qualified
sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, and other ways of making information
and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.
